What an evening we had fishing the areas around Pensacola Beach. We were Shore Fishing for sharks using large cut up mackerel and landed what NOAA estimates to be a 13 or so foot long Hammerhead shark. We pride ourselves in offering some of the most ethical Catch and release shark fishing Florida has to offer so we did not have time to measure this beast ourselves. We used standard surf fishing rigs for these sharks. We used a small vessel to drop the bait a little ways off the beach.
